Steven C Sorenson
After graduating from high school in Bismarck, North Dakota, Steve served three years as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne. He earned a B.A. in theology and completed two additional years of study in the arts and psychology.
Steve has published two Christian discipleship workbooks and has self-published one novel, In the Key of Silence. Steve facilitates several faith-based small groups weekly and spends time weekly having open conversations at Every Third Saturday - an organization that provides support for veterans.
Educated in theology to equip believing Christians in theology, biblical interpretation, and apologetics, he has partnered with ministries such as Mercy Ships, Open Doors with Brother Andrew, Search Ministries, and Evangelical Free Church of America ordination council. Steve created a non-profit ministry Vine & Branches in 2019.
Coupled with Steve’s ministry background, he has over twenty years of construction, home inspection and woodworking experience.
Steve and his wife Melinda have been married for 33 years and live in Minneapolis. They have two adult sons, Andrew and Roman. Roman was adopted from foster care at the age of nine.
When Steve is not mentoring young men or facilitating small groups, he enjoys boating, woodworking and writing, both fiction and non-fiction.
